Well the truth is to try archery with our club you need NO equipment that’s right we have everything you need to try Archery, in fact if you have never shot before we prefer you to not have anything.
At the club you should wear something fairly close fitting that will not interfere with the bow string, flapping sleeves are a particular nuisance. Shoes should be sensible and closed (definitely no open toed sandals!)...trainers are ideal. Should you wish that you want to enter competitions you will find that a few of the member can advise of the relevant clothing for these as they actively partake in them at an external level.
For junior archers all the same rules apply but will a few minor added things. We can only accept juniors that are the age of 8 and above and they must also be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. We as a club also adhere to all requirements for child protection. We also have a dedicated committee member who is Child protection officer.
